Author-Lawyer Jeff Keith was indicted for obstruction of justice by the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office when he penned the following quote then sent it to judges and other political figures.
There can be no outrage greater to the safety of this community worse than a renegade prosecutor who is prepared to fix murder cases. If an individual is convicted of murder there is no penalty more severe. When a prosecutor engages in a pattern of corrupt activity that includes sending individuals to their death, he engages in crimes against humanity.
Cleveland's local NBC affiliate picked up the story on April 25, 2001 with a 14 part expose entitled, Agent Provocateurs Fixing Cases In Cuyahoga County. Within 24 hours, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason called the station and threatened them with a news blackout if the program continued to air. He had heard the interview by narrator Dave Summers with long time government agent Robert Winlock. Read Robert Winlock's scandalous story with documents received through NBC news confidential sources within the Prosecutor's Office.
